Yes, absolutely. You’re welcome to pack your own items and use your own boxes. Please make sure all boxes are securely sealed and are of a suitable size and strength. This allows us to stack your belongings safely in our van and helps ensure that they arrive in good condition.
If you need packing materials, we can also supply boxes and bubble wrap upon request.
If the chest of drawers is not overly heavy, it is usually fine to leave the contents inside. However, some types of furniture—particularly flat-pack or home-assembled items—do not travel well. In these cases, drawers should always be emptied to reduce the risk of damage during transit.
If requested, we can dismantle and reassemble your furniture. However, some items may require a professional tradesperson or joiner. This would need to be discussed and agreed upon before your quote is provided. If this service is not agreed in advance, all furniture and beds must be dismantled prior to our arrival.
Although we don’t have our own storage facility, we can arrange storage for you through a trusted provider and take care of the organisation on your behalf.
Yes, our team is experienced in moving pianos, and we use specialised moving equipment and protective covers to ensure they are transported safely.
Please note that pianos require suitable access. Factors such as stairs, narrow doorways, limited parking, or long carry distances may affect the move and could incur additional charges. Any access restrictions must be discussed in advance so we can assess the job properly and provide an accurate quote.
At the time of booking a deposit will be taken and the remainder of the cost should be paid in full on the day of the removal.
